At 2:00 AM we were suddenly struck with an insatiable hunger. Driven by this desire to consume the cheapest and most satisfying meal one can get at that hour, it became our goal to purchase one of Sunrise Chip 'n Ranch’s finest chip and cheese rotis, with mutton gravy.

The good news is that Johnnie's still sells a damn fine roti. The bad news is they've proved conclusively a link between curry powder exposure and brain damage, the evidence of which you can clearly see on this poster. It reads "Yes! Yes! Yes! We Will We Will Rock... One Loaf Of Chicken Bunny Chow"! Now that's marketing for you. I love it!

For R18 you still get your money's worth. I couldn't eat more than half on a good day, but I do know people who have no problem eating the whole thing. Ouch.

Anyway, the reason we were so hungry is because we’d spent the night drinking at the final of the ‘Battle of the Tributes’ competition. I’m a bit tired of talking about bands for now, (anyone else feel like doing it? :) so I’ll keep it short and say well done Korn, who were streaks ahead and deservedly went home with the R10 000 first prize. Awesome performance guys, I hope you are entering the ‘Burn the Bands’ competition later this year!

It was great to see the bands using some gimmicks on stage, Cake had the easter bunny jamming behind them, and Korn had their white marshmallow man doll from ‘Issues’ stage diving into the crowd.... erm, or rather onto the floor where the crowd should have been.

I know I’ve been building it up loads but I don’t care, I can’t wait for Splashy! I won’t be able to do any updates until next Tuesday, so don’t hold your breath this weekend okes!

Which brings me to another point, I really don’t want this site to be “The life and times of capdog".com. Everyone is encouraged to contribute, and it would be great to hear stories of what you people get up to! Send in photos, articles, polls, whatever. It would be awesome if someone would step up to the challenge and become a regular contributer!
