I have a couple of pages in the back of a notebook where I sketched an idea for "DurbanLife" as a Drupal project. This was maybe a year ago, if not slightly longer. Then I found durbanscouts and was satisfied :-) One of the nicest Drupal based city/town sites I've come across is Port Talbot Chat (http://www.porttalbotchat.co.uk/). (Yes, Drupal hackers - that _is_ a Drupal site!) As far as community sites go, did you know that there is a http://durban.craigslist.org (sucks...) and http://durban.gumtree.co.za (pretty useful)? Craigslist and Gumtree are very well known overseas, especially in the US and UK respectively. [ ] |
