Here’s a couple of things I saw recently that I thought I’d share, especially for those of you overseas that are missing home.

The first is this twit who decided that graffiti is the best advertising medium for his electrical business. So he sprayed his name, company name and telephone number on a retaining wall by the Pavilion! Sam, why don’t you save the cops the trouble of tracing the number, and hand yourself in to the nearest station? I hearby nominate you for bozo of the week. C’mon Sam, if you’re do some spraypaint advertising, at least make it look like a cool skater tag or something! Use a bit of colour. This is just... ugly. Bad Sam!
We're having a local government election on the 1st March. Here’s a freakin’ classic poster by the Minority Front that kills me every time. THE TIGER!! Vote for him! Grrrrrrrawww! Nice kitty! Hahaha, only in Durban!
The weekend was steenkin’ hot, up to forty degrees on Saturday! We went down to the skate park on the beachfront to watch a few bands playing, but nearly drowned in our own sweat so decided to cut it short. Here’s a pic or two, once again for you expats that may not have seen this relatively new addition to the beachfront.
The bands had to play in the blazing heat without any shade. It was so hot that the equipment started malfunctioning and Lowprofile’s gig was probably one that they’d rather soon forget. Oh well, next time okes.
Oh, and on Saturday Burn was jam-packed again, both the System of a Down and Tool tributes were awesome, but Tool sneaked through in the end. No photos. Wish I’d taken my camera though cause the Tool guys had a bunch of cool props and were dressed up (cute boxers Andy!).
