to quote the KLF that is... if we are relating stories of worst/best New Years... my millenium change over New Year was spent in a small 1/2 horse dorpie called Bergville - sounds quaint, but not if the reason was you were stuck there cause you had to graft till late, all yer mates had already left for various prime and rocking destinations...no transport available... the only solice i could take was to share a couple of quarts at the Bergville Prison... ok, it was with a couple of the warders that I had befriended and not the inmates ;-) top that for hinky New Years jol of the millenium...I dare ya !
