From the country that brought us the propaganga of Mussolini comes an even greater outburst of misinformation: according to the official South Africa tourism site in Italy, the seas of Durban were completely frozen during the recent cold spell!

Outrage! Do they ever check their facts before posting such lies? It's clear to me and everyone with half a brain that those pictures are not Durban!

It's clearly Cape Town. I know for sure because a friend of a friend sent me an email with the subject "FWD: RE: FWD: FWD: CAPE TOWN FROZEN!!!!!". Maybe I should get a job at the stupid Italian embassy and set them straight.

The text on the website http://www.sudafrica.it/turismo.htm translated on Babelfish, reads:
